Supervision
for Therapists

Needing support so you can better support your clients?

Good supervision is not just a professional requirement—it’s the cornerstone of ethical practice and a vital part of mindful self-care for those in the mental health sector.

As a qualified supervisor, having completed the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) Supervisor’s course, I draw inspiration from Daphne Hewson and Michael Carroll’s Reflective Practice in Supervision (2016). Their philosophy, “the best teachers are within ourselves,” underpins my approach, fostering a collaborative and empowering supervisory relationship.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can pause, reflect, and embrace vulnerability. Together, we’ll co-create a supervisory dialogue that encourages curiosity, challenges established wisdom, and unpacks the beliefs and narratives shaping your practice.

Supervision sessions focus on three key areas:

Client Care – Ensuring the best outcomes for your clients.

Professional Standards – Maintaining ethical and effective practice.

Professional Development – Supporting your growth as a practitioner.

However, the direction and content of our sessions will always be guided by your unique needs and practice challenges, even in group work. I also offer immediate support in emergency situations, so you’ll never feel alone when facing critical moments.

Feeling supported and knowing someone has your back empowers you to deliver your best work. I take pride in co-creating a safe, reflective space where you can unpack therapeutic challenges, explore solutions, and grow in confidence.

She is an excellent role model for me as I continue to grow in my practice ability, and I am grateful to have found her.
